What are some good collectible stores?
I have two recommendations. The first is an online store called Toy Sez, https://toysez.com/. They have a ton of Sonny Angels, and I'm pretty sure they are an authentic seller. Another one is Strange Cat Toys, which is a brick-and-mortar in Tampa, FL, that I personally like.
Why are Jellycats so expensive?
It's probably due to the demand for them, especially for those that everyone wants, where there isn’t enough stock. When it's sold out on their website, and the jellycat is more rare, that's what brings the price higher.

First, you can go to the official Sonny Angel website, sonnyangelusa.com, to ensure you find authentic Sonny Angels.

If you're looking for old limiteds, it gets a little bit tougher. Obviously, not all old limiteds have fakes made of them, but there are certain series that do, and if you go to a mall kiosk, for example, with a bunch of Sonny Angels from different series, they’re likely fake, so keep that in mind.

Some boba shops may also have them randomly, but a lot of them tend to overprice their stuff, so boba shops may not be the best place.

Facebook Marketplace is another place you can find Sonny Angels, and you can find people who are local to you, see it in person, and authenticate it before buying.
