Are Scorpio and Sagittarius a good match in a relationship?

I’m a scorpio and is currently dating a Sag.
We really clashed at the beginning of our journey. He doesn’t really want to date at first but he said he likes me. I really really like him so much.
But, he was trying to first trying to tell me he is unsure if he wants a relationship.
I left him alone but he kept texting me.
For some reason,
we started going out on dates.
And I never text him first.
I would first casually flirt with him but later on stopped, with the thought that he might have not appreciated any of it but as time went by, he’s the one who doesn’t stop flirting and texting me daily.
My adoration for him gradually lessened because, as you may know, I need someone who would be as intense as me.
I would leave him alone most of the time because I think he wants his “me” time.
Its never official between us and I don’t know what we are exactly right now. And this is scaring me.
I really want some assurance.
I don’t think we match the same energy.
