Should I tell my friend I don't want to be friends with her anymore?

My situation is very complicated. First off, my friend is very annoying to me. It taxes me to be around her and completely drains my social battery. I'm just friends with her to preserve her feelings at this point, which is my bigger problem. I'm a terrible friend to her, but she doesn't seem to notice. She doesn't have many friends and she feels like nobody likes her. She recently told me she was afraid I'd leave her, which made me feel guilty, because I had been considering it. So I told her I'd never leave her. And now, I'm considering leaving her. I just feel extremely selfish. I thought I was doing her good, but I wasn't. I don't even know what to do at this point. I don't have the energy to keep appeasing her, but I don't want to upset her by telling her I don't want to be friends with her. And I DEFINITELY am not going to ghost her. She considers me a best friend. Please, if anyone has any advice, I need help.

I Don't Like My Friend's Dating Life

I don't want to break them up, I just need help dealing with this. My friend recently got an online girlfriend, (well, more like a couple months ago) and I've noticed a lot of changes in his behavior since. He's always talking about her, and I think she's encouraging him to do some not-great things. (I saw their texts). He LOOOOOVES her and I just don't think the relationship is good. I don't want to tell him to stop dating her or anything, but I can't take this. I think they'll be dating forever. Please give me advice on how to cope with this!

-It/its pronouns are dehumanizing and people should not use them. They are not LGBTQ. It's literally calling yourself an object.
-Swearing isn't funny and it doesn't make you cool, it's not at all attractive
-Hershey's chocolate is bad
