Things You Should Know

  • If you cannot find Escape from Tarkov in your Programs and Features list, navigate to "C:\Battlestate Games\BsgLauncher" folder in File Explorer.
  • Run the "uninstall.exe" or "unins000.exe" file and follow the prompts to uninstall the game.
  • Delete the "Battlestate Games" folder to remove any additional files.
  1. Since Escape from Tarkov does not appear in the list of Windows applications, you will need to navigate to the uninstall program using File Explorer instead.
  2. It's usually in the menu bar to the left. This will display all drives on your computer.

  8. If you want to remove any and all files related to Escape from Tarkov (including configuration and game save files), you can delete the "Battlestate Games" folder. To do so, click the back arrow button twice, or navigate back to the "C:" drive. Click the Battlestate Games folder, and press the Delete key. Then be sure to empty the Recycling Bin on your Windows desktop.[1]
    • If there are any lingering traces of Escape from Tarkov, you can delete files from the game in the system registry. However, this is only recommended for advanced users who know what they are doing. Deleting the wrong registry files can permanently damage your system.
