In Stardew Valley, you can place furniture down in most of the open spaces. You can even turn furniture to fit your exact house or farm design needs. Here's how to rotate furniture in Stardew Valley on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation, and mobile.

Rotate the furniture. It's best to place furniture in a way that doesn't block players from entering rooms or using interactive items, such as chests. If you place chairs in a certain direction, your character will face accordingly when seated.^{[6]
