    It may be a keyboard fault. If so, the best way to resolve this error reinstall Notepad in Windows 10.

    When saving, you can change the file extension under where you change the name of the file. If you don't see doc or PDF files, then the app is not compatible to use those extensions. Changing the file extension manually by renaming the file is very dangerous and could corrupt the file. Try using another application to do this task.

    Unfortunately it is not possible to print a pre-configured envelope in Wordpad. However using the page layout screen (file-page setup) you can adjust the page size to your envelope size and then add text to the WordPad document.
