    The same steps can also be performed through USB. Instead of a CD, create a bootable USB. A lot of free and open source tools allow you to create it and burn ISO images on to a USB.

    I use PC setting and chose the Windows recovery option. And I tried to uninstall the latest installed programs like avg. I clicked and waited but was too long, so I put off. Now I put it on and it says installation error what now?

    What happened is you did not wait for the recovery to fully finish. The PC takes a lot of time to actually repair the OS. It is dangerous to interrupt it in between. In your case I believe that is what happened. Your only option is to re-install the entire OS from start. Retrieve important and personal files before installing the OS. Get help from a PC technician.

    If it is only the screen that crashed, if yes you might have to change your screen. If it's the whole laptop, you might have to check the motherboard, and other internal components and if it's not damaged it will be only the screen.

    Remove your hard drive, get an external hard drive casing, couple them together. Then plug the external drive into another laptop and check if it shows up. If it does, move your files and check the disk for any errors, then format it and reinstall Windows.

    Media presence errors almost always require troubleshooting of some sort, and depending on the BIOS settings, it may be as simple as re-ordering the boot priority, or as complicated as recovering a boot file. 1. Enable your boot device. 2. Disable Wake on LAN in the BIOS. 3. Update the BIOS.
