  1. The Lenovo Pen Settings app gives you full customization of all the buttons on your pen. Install the app on your device and open it. Once you pair your pen to your device, the window will display an image of your pen with different settings options.[1]
    • On a tablet, download Lenovo Pen Settings from the Microsoft Store.
    • On a PC, enter your PC name or serial number from the Lenovo support site to find the most current compatible app and driver.
  2. The top button on your pen is on the end, like where an eraser would be on a pencil. Most Lenovo pens let you change what happens when you press the button once or twice. Some pens also let you adjust options if you press and hold the button down.[2]
    • Default settings
      • Single click: Open the Windows Ink Workspace/Whiteboard
      • Double click: Send screenshot to OneNote or open Snip & Sketch
      • Press and hold: Activate Cortana

  3. The top and bottom barrel buttons are located on the side of your pen so they’re easy to click while you’re writing or drawing. Check out our breakdown of all the available button functions below, but use the drop-down menus under the barrel button settings to reassign them.[3]
    • If you have Hover Click disabled, the button function only activates while the pen tip is touching the screen. If you enable it, the function will work as long as the pen is connected to your device.
    • Top Barrel Button Default Settings: Right-click, Lasso select, or Color 2
    • Bottom Barrel Button Default Settings: Erase
  4. The tip sensitivity determines how sensitive your device is when you press down with the tip of your pen. The tilt sensitivity changes how much your device senses when you tilt the pen at an angle. For a higher sensitivity, drag the sliders to the right.
  5. Presentation Mode automatically changes the top button functions on your pen when you open PowerPoint. Clicking the top button once becomes Page Down/Next Slide, and clicking it twice becomes Page Up/Previous Slide.[4]
    • If you give a lot of presentations and want to change slides without standing near your device, leave this setting turned on.
  6. The Radial Menu is one of the functions you can assign to a button, and it opens a pop-up menu with multiple other menu options. Click on the Radial Menu option on the left side of the window, and choose new functions from the dropdowns to reassign each wedge.
