  1. This biome can be found underneath the Surface of the Jungle biome. Just travel downwards. You'll see dozens of small caverns connected together.
  2. The Man Eaters look similar to the surface-level Snatcher enemies, except they are red and green. These enemies have pinchers that extend towards you to attack.[1]
    • Attack the Man Eater's head rather than the block it's attached to. If you destroy the block, you won't receive any drops.
    • You can also find Jungle Spores in the same area. Destroy the green glowing orbs that grow on the Jungle grass.

  3. When you defeat a Man Eater, it has a 50% rate of dropping Vines.
    • Man Eaters also have a chance to drop Ancient Cobalt armor, which can help you prepare to defeat bosses, such as the Queen Slime, Skeletron, the Wall of Flesh, and more.
