I would recommend using fresh sea salt and pepper. You can also use a Honey Garlic Seasoning for flavor.

My go-to is to make my own teriyaki sauce. You can make it with reduced sodium and sugar to be healthier. I use a little honey or light brown sugar, garlic, and ginger. Mediterranean is another healthier option, with some olive oil, lemon juice, and cumin.

You can also try to find stuff that has natural salt in it, so you don’t have to add extra salt. For example, lemon pepper is great – it’s one seasoning without added salt in it. I’ll use lemon pepper and paprika on chicken thighs, and it tastes fantastic. Generally, making your own sauce and using fresh ingredients should work well for what you’re going for.
