How to Fix Analog Sticks on Dual Shock 2 Controller for PS2

The PlayStation 2 is a great console, but its controller has a problem: the analogue sticks. You can perform a simple test to see if the sticks are repairable. See Step 1 below to find out how.

If the character was moving when you were not touching the controller, this should fix the problem. Just repeat steps 1 & 2 while on title screen (press START).
Every time you start PS2, move analog in a circular motion 1 time, and then your stick will not move itself.
